The UCD German Society 2022/23 committee is very excited about the year ahead and the return of on campus events! We aim to promote the German language and the culture of German speaking countries amongst the UCD community through a wide range of fantastische and fun events.

We have planned a wide range of events such as our beloved weekly Kaffeeklatsch coffee mornings, Speed Freunden, Weihnachten and Kinonacht for our incoming members to enjoy. Every year we celebrate key dates such as the European Day of Languages, Oktoberfest, the Fall of the Berlin Wall and  help out with the Annual German Colours Debate.

Whether you are a native speaker or would like to pick up some Deutsch, our events are inclusive of all levels of German and welcome all students!

The UCD German Society has been active on campus for over 30 years and viel Spaß has always been guaranteed!
