Japanese Society

The Japanese Society (A.K.A. JSoc or 日本文化サークル) is a student-run organisation at UCD that promotes interest in all areas of Japanese culture.
We run weekly events ranging from Tea Afternoons, Japanese film screenings, Language Exchanges, dinners and nights out, and Japanese culture workshops.
We have a special role in welcoming the Japanese exchange students that visit us every year, and to provide a warm and welcoming community to all students. The society also has a special responsibility in organising the annual Experience Japan festival in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy, the Office of Public Works, Dublin City Council, and other Japanese Societies in Dublin.
