6 College Events That Will Make Your Life Better in 2018
The new year has arrived.
I’m sure your head is filled with resolutions of all the things you want to do in 2018.
Here’s 6 more events you can look forward to in semester two:
#1 Refreshers Week
That’s right kids. Critics are calling it the best thing since freshers week.
The aim? To get students excited for society events in semester 2. We look forward to seeing you there.
#2 Jazz Workshops
Every Wednesday in semester two, from 6.30pm-8.30pm, Jazz soc will run their weekly Jazz workshops.
Go along to relax, meet new people and vibe to some jazz!
#3 Cafe Croissant
The French society will be delivering their wonderful french food in semester two once again. Look out for the pain au chocolats. They are to die for.
#4 Palestine Awareness Week
Islamic soc host a week of in February to raise awareness for the struggles in Palestine. Events include quizzes, film screenings and olive tree plantings!
#5 Law Ball 2017
Law soc host there annual ball in February. After the success of their mystery train in semester one we expect this to be a sold out event!
#6 Dramsoc Leaving Cert Show
Each year Dramsoc put together a Shakespearean show for Leaving Cert students. This year the chosen play is King Lear. The show will take place in Astra Hall from January 15th-19th. More details coming soon…
