This Thursday's Clinical Talk will be given by our own Dr. Vilhelmiina Huuskonen on "Perianaesthetic morbidity and mortality in small animal anaesthesia.”
Vilhelmiina is an assistant Professor in UCDVH as well as a European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia. This is a great talk for fourth years who are studying anaesthesia ( a perfect refresher before the dreaded anaesthesia exam!) , as well as good revision for final years and an introduction for 3rd years.
Vilhelmiina completed her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She then went on to complete two internships. Firstly a small animal rotating internship in the University of Helsinki and secondly an emergency and critical care internship in Tufts University. She then worked for three years in UH until she became a resident in anaesthesia here in UCD in 2009. She received her ECVAA in 2014.
This talk is kindly sponsored by Duggan Veterinary Supplies who supply our hospital with all their anaesthesia needs.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and pizza as always!
