Auditions: LGBT+ Show – ‘After Alex’ Written and Directed by Emily Savage

Monologue heavy drama about the close circle of a young gay person who has committed suicide. Each monologue reveals something new about the person's life up until the last monologue which is the note he has left behind.
Characters are open for all genders except the Father, Alex and Alex’s Boyfriend
Alex’s dad, he is very loving and caring but is oblivious to what is going on in his son’s life.
Friend #1, thought Alex was doing better and is in shock but trying to find ways to cope with their grief
Friend #2, they’re angry and blame Alex’s boyfriend for the bullying Alex was facing
Alex’s boyfriend, they had recently had an argument and hadn’t spoken for a few days but he thought Alex was doing okay and is struggling with trying to understand what happened
Alex’s rugby team mate, explaining about some trouble other team mates and other teams were giving him
Alex, young gay man who has committed suicide after suffering from mental health issues and bullying
