This Event has been already started.
On Wednesday the 22nd of November we will be hosting a talk on Badgers and photography given by Andrew Kelly. It will be at 5:30pm in Room 231 Science North. Andrew is a photographer (Akellyphoto.com) and is involved in conservation with Badgerwatch and other conservation organizations. He will talk to us about badgers, and wildlife photography. With an estimated population of 84,000 individuals, Badgers are not endangered in Ireland. However, there have been multiple reports of illegal persecutions and sett disturbances, and the high frequency of mortality on the road can lead to localized extinctions. This talk will aim to inform on this little dark-striped creature's way of life and raise awareness on how to best protect it.
