Join us this Thursday as Holocaust survivor Ben Stern addresses the L&H. Ben Stern is a 95-year-old Holocaust survivor from Poland. He survived two ghettos, nine concentration camps and two death marches. Mr Stern was one of the few survivors of a forced march from Buchenwald to the Tyrolian mountains near the Austrian border. He was liberated by the U.S. Army on May 3, 1945. Near Normal Man is a documentary where Mr Stern gives a first hand account of his life and his fight against anti-semitism in the US. We are honoured to be able to present him with the James Joyce award on Thursday and we hope you will join us to hear his story.
