On Thursday 27th October, Livingstones will be running our annual Christmas Shoebox Donation in aid of Team Hope. Team Hope are a brilliant Irish charity focused on international development aid. Each year, they provide presents to children who otherwise might not receive any. On 27 October, please bring a shoebox containing presents to Room 1.16 in the Agriculture Building. We'll be there between 6:15pm at 8pm. Our plan is to wrap our shoeboxes together, so if possible please bring wrapping paper, scissors and sellotape with you as well. We also encourage you to bring an optional €4 donation to Team Hope, which helps to cover their shipping and delivery costs (alternatively you can donate online if that's easier). Each shoebox must contain the 4 W's: Something to Wash with, something to Write with, something to Wear, and something Wow. You must also choose whether you want to donate your shoebox to a girl or a boy, aged 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14 years old. You might see a label online to print out - don't worry about doing this, we'll sort this out! We're running this event in October because Team Hope's due date for the shoeboxes is 7th November, in order to deliver the boxes to children around the world in time for Christmas.
