    Event Description

This week our clinical talk is "Colic 101- Diagnosis and Decision Making". This talk is brought to us by Daria Coleridge an equine surgeon from Fethard Equine Hospital. We are extremely lucky to get this chance to to hear some words of wisdom from Daria as she is an Equine Godess. Daria started her career with a degree in Veterinary Technology graduating in 2008 from Quinnipiac University. She then moved on to North Carolina State University graduating in 2012 as a Dr. of Veterinary Medicine with an Equine Focus. Daria continued the equine route with a surgical internship in Hagyard Equine Medical Institute and a 3 year Equine Surgery Residency in Louisiana State University. Following this She became a Clinical Instructor of Equine Medicine and Surgery in Aburn University Alabama and now we are ever so lucky she decided to come to Ireland and is now an Equine Surgeon in Fethard Equine Hospital. (She is equine goals) This talk is kindly sponsored by Bluegrass horse feeds who will be giving a short educational talk on feeding horses post surgery. Tea, coffee, biscuits, and pizza as always.
