We are restricting this talk and practical session to 4th year vets and final year vets and vet nurses. Liam Moriarty MVB is coming to give us a talk on the do’s and don’ts of CVs and interviews. He is going to give us vital tips on how to make a good impression. His talk will be followed on the 21st of February by a speed interview session. This will comprise of 6 interviewers and you will get a 10 minute interview from each depending on numbers. While the guys are comparing notes following our interviews Charles Cosgrave will give a short talk on what questions to ask at an interview and what answers to look for. This will be followed by one of the guys giving feedback on the interviews (in a general overall viewpoint) on the strengths and areas to focus on. ( you may bring your CV but it is not essential) This is an unmissable experience and we are extremely lucky to get this opportunity to learn from the people who will one day be sitting on the opposite side of the table at our interviews.
