An Arab Society classic made a return on the 21st of November. It served as a way for our diverse members to come together and enjoy some delicious hummus! We had over 30 attendees. This was a free event where we served hummus, vegetables and crackers to our members, we also introduced them to Arabic music as it was playing in the background. The committee and the members were able to mingle and have some chats over hummus. Hummus & Chill Arabs, of course, claimed they (or their mother) could make better hummus. We even had discussions over the different types of hummus and the ways of making it which typically led to conversations about the different Arab dishes from all parts of the Arab world! It truly was nice to see that such fun conversations derived from a few tasty bites! A lot of attendees actually didn't really know about hummus, so it was nice to be able to introduce it to them! They were very excited to join us again for more Middle Eastern food in future events!
