Join UCDVO & Concern Worldwide for our International Women’s Day Webinar on March 4th from 6pm with our amazing panel of speakers where we talk about important women’s issues from health, education, sexual assault and abuse and many more engaging and important topics that affect so many women worldwide. Here are our speakers: Noeline Blackwell is CEO of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and the former Director General of FLAC (free legal advice clinics), as well as a past board member of the Immigrant Council of Ireland and Front Line Defenders. Noeline's work aims to heal the trauma of rape and sexual assault. Fiadh Melina, Chairperson of the Danu Project. This is a charity that supports asylum seekers through empowerment projects. She has been involved in a projects focusing on maternity kits for expectant mothers who are seeking asylum in Ireland. Anni Lehto, Gender and Safeguarding Officer with Concern World in Sierra Leone. Anni has previously worked on the Safe Learning Model Programme (Concern / UCD School of Education), engaging with entire communities to address GBV through education and well-being.
