Come join the UCD Politics and International Relations Society (PolSoc) on Tuesday, September 19th in the Fitzgerald Chamber at 4pm-5pm for our “Introduction to Politics” panel discussion! This panel discussion will revolve around an introduction to Ireland’s political scene at the current moment, as well as a glimpse into what the political parties have planned for the year to come. This will be an opportunity for students to hear from party representatives themselves on the legitimacy of their own parties and what they are actively doing to represent the citizenry and legislate on a day-to-day basis. Come down to learn about the different parties within Irish politics and meet your representatives! We have worked with the parties to bring in speakers from Fine Gael, Sinn Féin, Labour, Social Democrats and Aontú to make this an event you won’t want to miss!
