The first round of our annual Negotiating Competition will be taking place this Thursday in the Newman Building! This competition features teams of two who must negotiate a conclusion to a dispute for their clients. They are provided with information on the case and specific information for their client (such as their goals, what leverage they have, and whether they would be willing to walk away without a deal), in advance of the competition, and have several days to prepare. The scenario this week features a GAA player’s agents and representatives from a shoe manufacturer, who are trying to negotiate an endorsement deal.
