This Event already finished.
Here's something we've gotten a few requests for over the year. Git is one of the most important tools in modern software development, used by 95%+ of software companies (some people still use SVN lol). But git can be kinda confusing to start off with, so our Based Head SysAdmin Adrian will be giving a talk/workshop on the basics of Git, Github and everything in-between. If you're a complete beginner or just a bit rusty (especially if you've a Software Enginering Project module coming up 😉), now's a good time to do some re-learning. Hopefully you'll learn enough so that you don't delete a very important repo, like one particular committee member did... To get there, go straight ahead through the entrance towards the window, turn right and it's the first classroom on the right.
