'Nuclear Family' is written and directed by Laurence Childs This show will be in Week 3 (4th- 8th February) of Semester 2 at 1pm. “Quite the archetype, aren’t we? The quintessential middle-class household. A lovely little nuclear family.” Five family members struggle with the concept of their own identities. Their existential fears and desires to be seen as they truly are drive them all through a series of dysfunctional family interactions and personal introspections. Bound together, they live in each other’s shadows, in a household that seems to breed unhappiness. But hey, what can you do? At the end of the day, it’s home.
