We are heading to Rome, Italy Spring 2018 for an academic trip and we are stoked!
Rome, Italy has been a cultural and political hub for millenniums with abundance to offer. From the great reign of the Roman Empire to Machiavelli’s political theories to the rise of fascist leader Benito Mussolini, Rome will sure to enlighten us.
Not only is Italy rich with policital history but the masterpieces of Michelangelo, Bramante to the incredible architecture of the Pantheon, Coloseum and St Peter’s Square with much more to explore.
We can not and must not forget the food! No one knows good pasta, pizza and wine like the Italians! No more amateur pizzas from campus now we get to try the real stuff! Oh and the gelato! Make room for the gelato!
We will have a short information evening on the trip and how you can sign up and get started on saving for your trip this Spring break.
We have so much to learn!!! Birth of the Republic and an empire!
