This Tuesday's Clinical Talk is all about diagnostic imaging- basic day 1 competencies and conditions you should be able to recognise. This talk will be given by Emma Tobin, a specialist in Veterinary Radiology in Room 115 at 7pm. Emma will talk about how diagnostic imaging is often the key to diagnosing cases in small animal practice, as well as topics you should be able to recognise as a new graduate. This talk will be excellent revision for DI for final years as Emma consults in UCD once a week, and excellent revision for 3rd and 4th years who have a DI component to all of their clinical modules. This talk is kindly sponsored by BCF Technology. Emma is a specialised Veterinary Radiologist offering a veterinary ultrasound referral service. She will reports on radiographic films and offer advice on improving radiographic technique to inpractice vets.Emma operates a mobile ultrasound service. She takes referral cases at Gilabbey Veterinary Hospital in Cork every Thursday and also consults in UCDVH on Tuesdays. There will be free tea, coffee, biscuits and pizza as always :)
