One such issue that students are incredibly engaged in is the political landscape in Northern Ireland, particularly due to the effects of Brexit and the Northern Irish Protocol. Given recent political developments, we want to revisit the question of how Brexit interacts with Northern Ireland, so are hosting a debate under the motion “This House Believes Brexit Poses a Threat to The Good Friday Agreement.” Given the many political, economic and social implications of Brexit across the UK, we think that a constructive discussion on this matter should be had. Be sure to come along to this collaborative event with UCD PolSoc and stay for the free food afterwards!
