UCD Dramsoc Presents: “Visiting Necropolis” by Ingmar Kviele
UCD Dramsoc are proud to present 'Visiting Necropolis'.
Running from 25th February - 1st March at 1pm each day, this show will be €3 for members and €5 for non-members.
60 years in the future, two tourists visit a graveyard containing the living testimonies of the victims of a 21st-century climate catastrophe. While trying to piece together the suffering their ancestors experienced, and understand the carbon society under which they lived, the tourists are confronted by ghosts from the past and the lowest depths of the human psyche, testing their relationship towards each other and humanity as a whole. Visiting Necropolis is a collection of testimonies drawn from those who have suffered or are suffering from the dramatic effects of climate change in our modern world.
This show includes images and content that some may find disturbing, flashing lights, and a hazer
