UCD Repair Clinic is a fantastic opportunity for staff and students to contribute to a sustainable future. The UCD Biological Society is working with the UCD Innovation Academy and TOG to host a repair clinic in the IA MakerSpace as part of UCD Green Week 2023.
On March 9th, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, participants are welcome to bring their broken items to the MakerSpace on the ground floor of the O'Brien Centre for Science. TOG and a team of student volunteers, including members of the UCD Biological Society, will be on hand to repair a range of items, from clothes and toys to musical instruments and game consoles, or anything that needs to be glued.
This event is a great way to reduce waste and prevent unnecessary items from ending up in landfills. By repairing rather than replacing, we can all do our part in promoting a more sustainable future. So come along to the UCD Repair Clinic and help make a positive impact on the environment!
