UCDSU in conjunction with UCD Access and UCD PolSoc will host a panel discussion on the “benefits of making education more accessible to people with disabilities” next Wednesday 11th of April in the Fitzgerald Theatre at 7 pm. Chaired by RTE's Rick O'Shea, the panel will see several speakers with various disabilities discuss their experiences with education and highlight the benefits of making it more accessible to those with disabilities. Speakers on the night include Maria Ní Fhlatharta, John Bosco Conama, Tina Lowe and Alannah Murray. Minister of State for Disability Issues, Finian McGrath will also be in attendance to launch UCDSU's recent report on the attitudes of UCD students towards People with Disabilities . Doors open at 7 pm and there'll be free pizza on the night. See you there.
