Event Description

Our yearly weekend away, taking plave in Densmore lodge, Ovoca Mannor, Avoca, Wicklow. We will have guest speaker Richard Mc Connell who will be speaking through the gospel of Mark about going and being God's witness throughout our life, and being a mission team on campus. this fits with othe 'GO' aspect of our theme this year. We have lots of fun activities planned, crate stacking, fun get to know you games, walks, prayer meetings. This weekend has 3 main aims that fit into out theme 'Discover, Grow, Go', We aim to discover more about God through learning from his word, to grow together as a community, to welcome new members and get to know them and then to learn about how to Go and be a mission team on campus.   Below is our schedule for the Weekend:   WEEKEND AWAY 2K19 Friday 6:30 Leave UCD Bus Stop 7:30/8:00 Arrive at Ovoca 8:00 Sort Rooms  8:30 Light Supper  9:30 Session 1 - Worship + talk 10:30 Mandatory Fun (Get to know you games)     Saturday 8:00 Optional Prayer Meeting 8:30 Breakfast 9:30 Session 2 - Worship + talk 11:00 Activity - Crate Stacking 1/1:30 Lunch  2:30 More Mandatory fun!  4:00 Activity - Games, sports hall, walk to  Ovoca, something fun! 6:00 Dinner 7:00 Session 3 - Worship + talk + Prayer 9:00 Evening Activities   Sunday 9:00 Prayer Walk 9:30 Breakfast  10:30 Quiet Time  11:00 Session 4 - Evangelism Workshop  1:00 Lunch  1:45 Pack up and Leave 2:15/30 Bus Back to UCD
