The Italian Society or Societa Italiana was founded in 2011 and is a organisation run by students to promote the Italian experience for anyone who has an interest in Italian culture. Whether you are a native or beginning to learn the language, the society welcomes all who want to engage within the society.

We host weekly tea sessions, language classes, have pizza nights and run film screenings in both Italian and English.

Other events we occasionally have are an annual trip to a Italian destination during the Easter Break, co-hosting the Languages Ball with other societies and gallery trips when possible.
