Student Legal Service
The UCD Student Legal Service is a dynamic society with an aim to provide free legal information to UCD students whilst simultaneously providing practical legal experience and opportunities to partake in our wide range of events. All SLS members have the chance to receive training from practicing legal professionals and legal academics. We run a variety of events including our Negotiation Competition, our UCD SLS publication, charity events such as Law B&L Week, networking events, exam prep sessions, and much more.
The work we do as a society has been widely recognised. In 2022, our annual publication entitled “100 Years of the Irish State” won UCD Publication of the Year. Furthermore, the Irish Independent published an article about the publication.
