UCD Society of the Year Awards 2017
During the final term of each academic year, the UCD Societies Council seeks to acknowledge the phenomenal contribution that UCD student societies make to student life on campus, and to the overall student experience of Ireland’s largest third-level educational institution.
Through their engagement with the services that each of UCD’s student societies offer, the wellbeing, enjoyment, and development of each of the University’s students is enhanced. This is made possible thanks to the hard work, commitment and dedication that students show to their societies.
Some of these students are to be congratulated for their participation within the governance structures of the society, either as officers, committee members or activity organisers.
Some of these students are to be congratulated for their participation with the various activities that take place throughout the year, attending events and coffee mornings, welcoming new members, canvassing during campaign season and staying late to clean-up and tidy after events have finished.
All of the students that engage with UCD’s student societies are to be commended for their efforts and for the lasting impact they leave on the University, and on its community.
