UCD Musical Society presents Spelling Bee
This week, UCD Musical Society presented their 2018 Inaugural Show, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
This hilarious musical comedy follows six quirky adolescents as they all compete to be crowned as the spelling champion! Each character is equally eager to win for their own individual reasons, which are revealed gradually throughout the show. Fast paced, vibrant, and even featuring audience participation, this show is one not to miss.
With audience participation, multiple laughs, lively dance numbers and wonderfully performed songs it was a show not to be missed.
The show ran from Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th September in Astra Hall in the UCD Student Centre with the Gala Night performance taking place on the Wednesday, with all welcome to stay on after the show for refreshments!
As always, the audience consisted of musical lovers, family members and current society members as well as alumni of the society with tickets being open to all.
A huge congratulations to all of the cast and crew involved in the production and the UCD Musical society for putting on a fantastic show!
