Come along to the Fitzgerald Chamber ahead of the return of Ireland's biggest debating competition. This training will be run by former finalist Mark Smyth who will answers any of those burning questions that you have. Irish Times is Ireland's longest-running debating competition with former winners including Marian Finucane, Dara O'Briain and Mr. Justice Adrian Hardiman. All debates are pre-prepared, so motions will be sent out weeks in advance, making the competition a great environment for novices and experienced speakers. Last year, LawSoc placed first and second in the individual competition so we are extremely experienced and successful in this competition.
