As part of ISDA Festival 2023, UCD Dramsoc presents 'Magical Girls' written and directed by Rachel Thornton. In this comic book, bubble-gum vision of Dublin, college dropout Maggie go Bragh has inherited her late mother Erin's magical destiny of defending the country from the forces of evil. And she's doing a terrible job of it. But when she learns of a terrible prophecy which threatens all she holds dear, it's a race against time to unearth the secrets of her mother's past through the eyes of her past villains. Alongside her talking cat Jinx, will Maggie save the day and finally live up to her family name? Probably not, but sure, you never know.
