The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) is an intergovernmental military alliance between 30 member states across Europe and North America. The expansion of the organisation is promoted on the basis of developing security and defence, though it is a controversial subject with opposing arguments discussing neutrality, imperialism, and the dangers of escalating conflict. In the context of our tense political environment, should NATO expansion be supported? Join us on Tuesday 18th October at 6:30 in the FitzGerald Chamber as we listen to our esteemed guests as they provide their views. With speakers such as Richard Boyd Barrett TD (PBP), Neale Richmond TD (FG), Dr Cathal Berry TD (Independent - Kildare South), and more, this debate is not one to be missed!
